Juhana Kotilainen

Baritone Juhana Kotilainen graduated with a Master’s degree from the Sibelius Academy. He performs actively as a lied singer and as a soloist in sacred music and opera, appearing in concerts and various productions both in Finland and abroad.

His repertoire features widely works from early music to contemporary compositions.

As an enthusiastic ensemble-singer he regularly works with the grammy-award winning Helsinki Chamber Choir.

Kotilainen has appeared at various music festivals including The Helsinki Festival, Ilmajoki Opera Festival, BRQ Vantaa festival. Since 2024 he is a member of the Artistic Direction of the Heinävesi Music Festival.
